Best of Panama 2007

The SCAA just recently announced the line-up of the Best of Panama 2007.  Once again, Hacienda La Esmeralda came out the top dog.  Transcend Coffee has registered as a bidder in the auction to take place at  the end of May.  Who knows, perhaps we will get lucky and secure some of this amazing coffee.  In the meantime, we have also gotten our hands on another 30 pounds of the 2006 Best of Panama and will have some more of the amazing coffee sometime in mid June.  Below see a portion of the SCAA press release.

After three days of intense cupping, judges from the United States, Japan, Europe and Costa Rica concluded the Best of Panama event with outstanding scores for the winning coffees submitted, announcing the top eight scores.
