I think I should just give up on the blogging thing for a while. I look back over the last month and see two whopping posts. In truth, most of my web time has been focused on the transcendcoffee website. I have been busy trying to tweak it and get it running and as such, I don't much feel like sitting down and doing this. So today it is Sunday and I am sitting in the kitchen watching a great game of football between Cincinnati and San Diego and thought that I might have some time to post to the blog. Life has been crazy as most of you know. Learning to be patient and trust in God as we conduct business is something which does not come naturally. My son as cute and delightful as he is at almost three, definitely knows how to push my buttons. What is scary, is how much he is like his old man when I was little, a little sneak, always on the move and getting into things. Winter has come too early, as I was hoping for a longer fall. The shop continues to grow, and week by week the customer base deepens and we are starting to become known in the city. We are meeting with the Strathcona farmers market on Tuesday, and are working with a number of potential wholesale clients. In short, life is pretty singly focused and yet there is some comfort in that. For far too long in my life I have been plagued by too many options; and while my mind sometimes wanders towards other things, my life is now firmly constrained by my choice made in March to venture into the specialty coffee industry. Well I will sign off now, as we are all heading to the YMCA to take the boy swimming.

Hey Mark family...yes isn't it amazing that people so little can find the buttons of their parents. Glad to hear things are going well and we hope to get up there to see you and the coffee shop. God bless!! Shannon, Bryan and Joseph
