It is still dark out. It has also been too long since my last post. To be honest, I don't feel as though I have a lot to write about lately. My life is comprised of much of the same thing day after day, roasting, serving, engaging, eating, getting some rest; the things that make up most of our days. We had an awesome evening at Transcend Coffee on Friday night with Cara Luft and Hugh McMillan. They were both a delight to watch and listen too. Live music at the shop is something we will do more of. Things slowly are coming together, day by day the numbers of people walking through the door increases and we are roasting more coffee each month. It is slow, as we always expected and the challenge for us is the day to day cash flow and trusting God in his promise to provide for us as the flow out is a torrent compared to the trickle in. As always the challenge is balance, wherein I still have time for my wife and son and friends along with the demands of the business. Early mornings are a blessing to me as I have time for scripture and prayer, a thing which has too easily slipped away in other times in my life. Well it is time to get the shop ready for business so I will sign off.
