Well we had quite the day yesterday. It started off like any other day, a few of the regulars, but from there it took a pleasant departure. Dropping coffee off at Magic 99 and having Rob Christie plug me all morning was nice. The steady stream of new faces was a good thing throughout the day too, and while it was never as crazy as last Saturday with the Kiwi crew, it was a good constant flow. Then the evening ended off with an absolutely enjoyable and memorable concert with Steve Abma. The house was absolutely packed and the evening turned into morning by the time we got packed up around 1:30 am. Steve was fabulous, we had a whole crop of new faces and a whole crop of friends who have been totally awesome in support. Even my aunt Margit and uncle Richard showed up unexpectedly, flowers in hand just for the day. Given the success of last night, I think we may have to hold a few more live music sessions over the next few months. It was a great day, and truth be told, I am dragging my butt a bit today. OK, enough rambling, I need to get down and do some roasting.
