Nearly There

Well, we are nearly finished the long journey.  The front of the space is almost finished, but for vinyl baseboards and some touch up painting, we are done.  My espresso machine should be running today, and I am roasting like a pyro.  Still a lot of painting to do in the hallway and the back, but we should be ready for a health inspection next week.  So within the next 10 days or so we should be ready for a private commissioning evening with wine, friends and a little prayer from the collared ones.  It has been a much longer and expensive haul than I planned on, but we are nearly completed the first part of the journey.  Actually I akin my present situation much to the plight of the astronauts in the space shuttle right now.  They are in space and excited, but are nervously waiting for the Canadarm to confirm that they will actually be able to get back home.
